Sunstrip Fitting Guide

When you receive your sunstrip you will notice it is very tall, 203mm is well over the legal limit (which we believe is 140mm but dont quote us on it) however when you come to fitting the strip you cut away the excess at the top when you have chosen your desired height anyway and we believe better have too much than too little.

Step 1

Clean the area with a residue free cleaner (cleaning alcohol is good)

Step 2

Place the sunstrip on the window with both front and back application still attached, make sure it's straight, measuring each side, (if you measure the very edge of the windscreen to the top, on both sides it should compensate for the windscreen curve and be straight) secure it in place with masking tape

Step 3

Cut the sunstrip to just wider than the windscreen

Step 4

Peel about 2 inches of the backing paper from one side of the sunstrip

Step 5

Cut and remove the 2 inches of backing paper.
